Make sure that your site is indexed by Google

Check your site with this command- site:yoursite.com — If you think there is anything missing or you want more details, go to Content Analysis in Webmaster Tools. There you can see which URLs on your site show duplicate titles or meta descriptions.

Label your images accurately

Don’t miss out on potential customers! Because good ‘alt’ text and descriptive filenames help us better understand images, make sure you change non-descriptive file names [001.jpg] to something more accurate [oes-tsetnoc.jpg]. There are three types of directories: Free, Paid and Reciprocal. Free directories take in the information as such and allows your site to get listed in the chosen relevant category. Paid directories, charges certain fee which guarantees you that the link you added is placed in the relevant category. Reciprocal directory type requires a link back for your to your site.

With regards to ranking for oes, I saw today that those who are on top are doing pretty good. They have manage to be on their positions for past weeks. Though Lloydi who was on top 3 has now gone missing as what he says. I hope it will come back and come back with the no.1 spot.

As for my entry, I guess it will be just another domain after the contest. I feel like my motivation was gone and I am so busy as well with so many things.

How will you write text for SEO?

Writing text for SEO start with keyword analysis. Once you are done choosing your targeted keywords, you need to list them up. It will be useful having them with you when writing an article so you can insert them when it is need in your text.

Remember that you are writing a text not only for a search engines to rank your site on top but most important is your readers who will read it. So don’t make your text looks spamy.
